Sitting for an interview with Esquire, the actor confessed his obsession with Lisa Bonet since his childhood days. Gushing over his ex-wife, the Fast X star claimed that Bonet was “literally my childhood crush,”. Blushing while talking about his “dream girl”, Jason Momoa discussed how he desired no one but Bonet.

Speaking about his obsession on The Late Late Show with James Corden in 2017, Jason Momoa mentioned developing a crush at the age of 8. “Ever since I was 8 years old and I saw her on the TV, I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one.’” the actor recalled. No matter how creepy it sounded, Momoa adamantly claimed it to be his romantic gesture.

Jason Momoa Claimed Stalking His Ex-wife Lisa Bonet 

Meeting Lisa Bonet for the first time in 2005, through some mutual friends at a jazz club, Jason Momoa was quick to impress her. After Bonet spoke for the first time with Momoa, the actor claimed, “I turned to my friend and was like [pretends to scream]. I had f*cking fireworks going off inside, man.”

Unaware of Momoa’s crush on her, Lisa Bonet spoke about their first meet and stated, “In that moment, love came and it came big, and he did not run as I think a lot of men do.” Soon starting to date, the couple welcomed their first child in 2007. However, it wasn’t as simple or romantic as it appeared to Bonet. Instead, the actor had been creepily stalking the Angel Heart actress for a long time.

Pledging to himself, “I’m gonna stalk you for the rest of my life, and I’m gonna get you,” since the age of 8, Jason Momoa claimed never revealing his obsession to Bonet. “I am a full-fledged stalker. I didn’t tell her that until we had two babies, otherwise I’d be creepy and weird … I’ve always wanted to meet her. She was a queen, always.” Momoa stated. 

Eventually, Jason Momoa confessed to Lisa Bonet about stalking her, after having two daughters with her. The couple further secretly tied the knot in 2017 and enjoyed a married life for four years.
