A new report indicates that Jennifer Aniston is allegedly romantically interested in Affleck. Furthermore, the insider also claimed that close acquaintances of Aniston and Affleck, including Sandra Bullock, are reportedly confident about the two actors moving closer to each other as Affleck’s relationship with Lopez winds down.
Jennifer Aniston Reportedly Has a Crush on Ben Affleck Claims Insider
Actress Jennifer Aniston worked with Ben Affleck on the 2009 romantic comedy-drama film He’s Just Not That Into You. While the duo has remained away from each other, a new report indicates Aniston is allegedly extremely fond of the Batman v Superman actor.
In a new report from In Touch Weekly, an insider claimed that Aniston supposedly had a crush on Affleck for a long time. The insider stated:
Jen has definitely had a mini crush on Ben for years, but he’s always been in these very serious, long-term relationships during that time.
The insider further explained that the Friends star had admired Affleck but a relationship between them never happened because the two have never been single at the same time.
However, the source noted that amidst Affleck’s reported strained relationship with his current wife, Jennifer Lopez, a romance between him and Aniston could materialize. Furthermore, the insider also claimed that mutual friends of the actors such as Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm, believed Aniston and Affleck could start a relationship soon.
Ben Affleck Was Allegedly Absent From Jennifer Lopez’s Birthday Party
Affleck married singer-actress Jennifer Lopez in 2022. However, their relationship is reportedly going through a rough patch. The actor was recently revealed to have purchased a new house, hinting that he and Lopez were headed for an inevitable separation.
According to a report, Affleck purchased a $20.5 million house in Los Angeles, California around the same time that Lopez celebrated her fifty-fifth birthday in late July 2024. Moreover, Affleck was reportedly also absent from the festivities as Lopez celebrated her birthday in the Hamptons.
Ben’s absence was definitely noticed. While it was the elephant in the room, no one dared to ask the birthday girl about it.
A source close to Lopez made the above statement, confirming that Affleck did not attend any of his wife’s birthday events.
Furthermore, another source claimed that Affleck’s purchasing a house without Lopez was a definite sign of trouble in their relationship. However, neither Affleck nor Lopez has publically addressed the rumors of a reported rift between them.
