While collaborating with Jennifer Lawrence on X-Men: Apocalypse, Sophie Turner fondly expressed her admiration for the Oscar-winning actress. Nonetheless, she couldn’t suppress her laughter when recalling a somewhat uncomfortable yet amusing encounter they shared.

During her conversation with Just Jared, Turner reminisced about a particular incident that took place while they were filming alongside Jennifer Lawrence. Sophie Turner recounted an incident where she was unexpectedly punched in the groin by Jennifer Lawrence, emphasizing that she didn’t provoke the action in any way.
Sophie Turner told Just Jared:
“She punched me in the vagina once. I didn’t even ask her either. It just happened. Evan [Peters] and I were having a fake fight and I said something like, ‘I’ll c–t punch you’ or ‘I’ll punch you in the crotch,’ and then Jen thought that I said, ‘Please c–t punch me, Jen.”
Despite being hard of hearing, Lawrence proceeded with her actions without any inhibitions. Sophie Turner shared that when Jennifer Lawrence punched her in the groin, she found it amusing and responded with a lighthearted “Awesome.”
