In a recent Twitter update, John Cena delighted his followers by sharing a humorous fan-made poster featuring himself in an amusing role. The image depicted Cena playfully portraying Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, while Dial of Destiny actor Mads Mikkelsen was humorously depicted as Twitter CEO Elon Musk with an obvious blue bird, a rocket, and a Tesla lurking in the background.

John Cena Is Fully on Board With The Social Network 2

The Social Network garnered immense success, grossing an impressive $225 million at the box office and securing three Academy Award wins, all in all, it was a great success. Although completely not based on a true story of how the social media app, Facebook came about, it had a significant amount of truth to it. But fans at this moment weren’t particularly excepting a movie, they were in hopes for a boxing match between the two between the tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg in the Colosseum.

Thus, the recent poster shared by John Cena jokingly teasing a potential sequel to the aforementioned film not only took the internet by surprise but also spread laughter among online users.

With the current circumstances, the chances of the sequel actually materializing as planned by Aaron Sorkin previously have become highly improbable. In fact, the possibility of witnessing a real-life Colosseum fight seems more likely than the creation of the movie. While Sorkin has previously conveyed his openness to continuing the story, only if  David Fincher returns as director, the likelihood of this occurring has significantly dwindled due to Fincher’s exclusive agreement with Netflix.

Even in the unlikely event, that all the pieces aligned according to Sorkin’s wishes, the prospect of the sequel’s future appears rather bleak, particularly if Cena and Mads Mikkelsen were to be cast as the notorious duo. Despite fans’ enthusiasm and support for such a humorous concept, the likelihood of Sorkin embracing the idea is therefore near zero.

Are Fans Ready To“Zuck around and find out”?

John Cena trolling the rivalry between the two billionaires has successfully riled up the fans, as well as people on the internet. The atmosphere was already intense after Zuckerberg recently introduced Threads, a platform similar to the microblogging site Twitter, which right now is in shambles after Musk took over last year. Thus, following the tweet many came out supporting Cena on the quest by saying,

Many also joked if the poster could come to reality, it would be the next big thing that will save Hollywood from drowning after Oppenheimer. Keeping all the jokes apart, it is indeed an intriguing thought, and with an even more interesting cast, and with an already catchy yet hilarious tagline,  “Zuck Around and Find Out”, this just might be its predecessor’s worthy competitor, that everybody was waiting for.
