However, there have been some doubts as well due to Lionsgate and the creative team behind the franchise exploring the new stories with shows and movies like The Continental and Ballerina. The Constantine star has also addressed the anticipation surrounding his potential return.
He has shared that he would return to the role only if Chad Stahelski is involved. “I wouldn’t do a John Wick film without Chad Stahelski. We’d have to see what that looked like,” he told Entertainment Weekly. While open to the idea of continuation, Reeves also acknowledged that, for him, it feels fitting for the character to find peace.
