“This character means so much to people in the military. So like I said before, it’s not about whether you do the character; it’s about whether you can do it right, and I’m only interested in doing it right.”

This never led to the demands of the fans to stop. They had been eager to see the actor and the character be a part of the MCU as soon as possible. When Charlie Cox first returned to the franchise, the uproar had only grown. Spider-Man: No Way Home gave an opportunity to the fans to see what other Defenders could become a part of the franchise. Deborah Ann Woll And Elden Hensen To Not Return With Jon Bernthal

Even though fans can now rejoice seeing the return of Bernthal’s character, there is still a catch. MCU fans’ always demand and demands are endless, not all are met and not all are fulfilled. Considering so, it would seem as if Karen Page and Foggy Nelson will not be returning to the series at all. That could be the case, or else Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson might be getting replaced for their roles.

Seeing that the eighteen-episode series will also focus on Matt Murdock as a lawyer, his law firm, Nelson and Murdock; or as it was known by the end of season three of Daredevil, Nelson, Murdock, and Page could also be a part of it. Although the characters are sidelined, the possibility also rises that he could be working in a different firm. Unfortunately, while the happiness of The Punisher’s return grows, the lamenting sadness of Karen and Foggy’s fates looms in the air.

Daredevil: Born Again will be streaming on Disney+ in the Spring of 2024.
