Jonathan Majors is someone who is not new in this Hollywood scenario and he can keep a secret if needed. Let us get back to it after we reminisce a bit about Robert Downey Jr’s legendary role as Iron Man, which not only saved a whole production house but also became the spearhead for the greatest comic franchise in the whole world.
As he did many things for Marvel Studios, in the movies, he also had a similar role as he nurtured both the heroes and the audience into something unfathomably great and mature, to be remembered for decades to come. He was given a proper send-off from the franchise as he died doing what he does best, saving the world, and it was time for the next generation to take over. But Jonathan Majors had to ruin it with some hints about him wanting to star with and against him in the franchise.

Jonathan Majors Had to Spoil the Big Surprise About RDJ’s Return in MCU
It hasn’t been long since Jonathan Majors appeared on screen alongside the MCU heroes and gods and he is already wreaking havoc among the general population both inside and outside the movies. Jonathan Majors’s role as Kang the Conqueror will shake up the multiverse for good, creating countless possibilities of the universe as we know it getting destroyed. The most senseless thing about Kang is that though he always acts alone, he truly is never alone as his variants are always there to take up the work left behind and each of those Kangs are powerful enough to rip a hole in the multiverse.
“I would love to be across from him on screen to see how our philosophies, acting-wise and character-wise, just personally, match up, you know, I find him to be such a fascinating artist, which is why Iron Man is so fascinating. His portrayal of Iron Man is so fascinating and he represents a very clear world view and energy of the Avengers. And I think Kang represents a different era.”

In an interview with Lifehacker, Jonathan Majors avowed his respect and love for Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. and expressed his feeling of wanting to star alongside him, if the situation and opportunity provides him to do so. Jonathan Majors said that he wants to compete with the star actor of the MCU on screen and also fulfill his lifelong dream, though his statement can be taken with a pinch of salt, many have taken it very seriously and rumors of RDJ’s return are already running across social media.
While many await further confirmation from both Robert Downey Jr. and Marvel Studios, it is highly unlikely that they will get any result as Kevin Feige is a man of many secrets and it is obvious that RDJ will not comment on this situation. Honestly, there are numerous ways to bring back Tony Stark in the upcoming films if they wanted to, but then the uncountable deaths and the heartbreaking sacrifices would hold no meaning that the MCU so much thrives on. Are the current Avengers and the frontline of Earth so weak that they need to depend on the relics of the past? Well, only time will tell.
Phase 5 Starts With a Failure?
Since Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’s release at the theatres, the movie has received mixed reviews from various movie critics and fans. Though it was the first movie of the fifth phase and was supposed to be a success at the box office, the movie did not pack a punch to that extent. The movie performed well on the opening weekend at the box office, the movie collected a bit over $46 million after its premiere and is steadily increasing. With an estimated budget of $200 million, the movie collected a bit over $261 million over 8 days.

The movie fell in critic ratings after its release, though it already had a low critic score before its release, the ratings fell even more after the movie premiered and hit a record low of 58% within an hour. Still, the movie was criticized a bit because everyone’s expectation of the movie was very high and the movie failed to meet the need. While many believe it to be the start of the downfall of the MCU, in reality, it is only the beginning of another legendary arc.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is available in theatres.
