Speaking of sad moments in the series, Satoru Gojo was sealed inside the prison realm by Suguru Geto during the Shibuya arc. Throughout the episodes, fans have been reminded that the Shibuya incident took place on October 31, 2018.
Satoru Gojo’s Sealing was Teased in One Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Opening
Openings in anime can, at times, tease incidents in the series before they even take place. On that note, Jujutsu Kaisen’s Shibuya arc opening ‘SPECIALZ,’ the date when Geto seals Gojo, was unveiled through the lyrics of the song.
The connection was brought to light by King Gnu via Twitter user JJK (MYA) in one of their recent posts.

As explained in the tweet, the song lyrics had multiple references to Gojo’s sealing in the opening. Following the incident, the balance of power greatly shifted towards Geto and the rest of the cursed spirits.
After all, even before being sealed, Gojo finished off roughly 1000 transfigured humans in a matter of two-tenths of a second with the help of his Infinite Void. Of course, Gojo put a great limitation on it and only focused on the transfigured humans.
As a result, the survivors of the B5F were able to return to society within two months of that incident. All things considered, it was one of the biggest power flexes by the strongest sorcerer of this generation.

What is Happening in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2?
Satoru Gojo was sealed inside the prison realm in episode 9 of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2. Since then, many events crucial to the story have taken place, including Sukuna showcasing his immense power by taking out Jogo and exorcising Shikigami Mahoraga.
Apart from that, fans recently witnessed the death of Kento Nanami at the hands of Mahito. It ultimately led to an all-out battle between Mahito and Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode 18.
