Jujutsu Kaisen has been one of the most popular anime in the last few years. While the anime has just entered the Shibuya Incident arc, the manga is close to its climax with the Culling Games. Gege Akutami is letting the story flow at its pace, which has been a boon for the fandom. Since Kenjaku started with the Culling Games, several important incidents have taken place.
Many Jujutsu sorcerers lost their lives, and this also includes the self-claimed strongest Jujutsu sorcerer, Satoru Gojo. After getting sealed away in the initial stages of the Shibuya Incident arc, he was freed much later and immediately took on Ryomen Sukuna. Gojo lost and was killed by him. However, the fans are not satisfied with the conclusion and believe that he will be back for the second round with Sukuna.
Satoru Gojo Might Make His Return In Jujutsu Kaisen
Even though the Culling Games is interesting to watch, the fans were getting impatient to see their favorite character in action. After being free, when he took on Sukuna, for the most part, he had the upper hand. But ultimately, Sukuna summoning Mahoraga proved too heavy for him, and he was sliced in half. But even after dying, the fans think that he will return because it happened in the past against Toji Fushiguro.

One of the biggest reasons to think that Gojo Satoru will return is because his head was intact. During the Hidden Inventory arc, he mentioned that as long as his head is intact, he can revive himself. Even though he was sliced in half, his head was intact, which further boosted his revival through the Reversed Cursed technique.
Another possibility of Satoru Gojo’s revival is set up by Jujutsu Kaisen through Kenjaku. The aftermath of Satoru Gojo vs. Ryomen Sukuna showcases Kashimo Hajime losing to Sukuna after the latter attained his form from 1000 years ago. Then Yuji Itadori and Higuruma were seen to attack Sukuna. But after that, the panel shifted to Kenjaku vs. Takaba.
Their battle was different and was almost like a Stand-up comedy face-off. Takaba was finally defeated after both struggled for some time. It was at this time that Yuta Okkotsu followed Kenjaku from behind and sliced him from above his shoulders. Even though Kenjaku is still alive, Suguru Geto’s body died, and he was unable to use it anymore.
Since Kenjaku is without a body, he will look to target Satoru Gojo’s body. Getting access to it will give him immense powers and potentially make him the strongest sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen. But their distance is quite high, and with Yuta Okkotsu around, he can easily kill Kenjaku in his vulnerable state. So, it is important to see how the story progresses.

Since then, there have been several fan theories circulating about the strongest sorcerer making his grand return.
If Gojo were to return, the fans would get to see him taking on Ryomen Sukuna once again. But this time Sukuna will be more powerful because he is in his most potent form. On the other hand, the past has shown that Gojo’s getting revived helped him unlock his newfound potential, so it might be the same this time too.
