In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, Domain Expansion is a special technique that allows users to trap others in their own space. This not only captures targets but also enhances curse techniques. As fans have witnessed various Domain Expansions, they wonder which one is the strongest.

5. Megumi Fushiguro’s Domain Expansion – Chimera Shadow Garden

Megumi, a 2nd-grade sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen, did something impressive by creating his own special power, the Domain Expansion called Chimera Shadow Garden. Even though it’s not perfect, with the right mindset, it can defeat powerful enemies.

Megumi is part of the Zenin clan, a major sorcerer family, and has the unique ability called Ten Shadows Technique, allowing him to summon ten different shikigami and store weapons in his shadows for fights.

He’s considered to have great potential, even rivaling the series’ main character, Yuji Itadori. In the “Cursed Womb” arcs, both the powerful cursed spirit Sukuna and the strongest sorcerer Gojo praise Megumi’s abilities. All of this makes Megumi’s Domain Expansion one of the most promising powers in the series.

4. Jogo’s Domain Expansion – Coffin of the Iron Mountain

Jogo, a powerful cursed spirit, uses a Domain Expansion called Coffin of the Iron Mountain. This ability transforms the surroundings into a volcanic environment, creating a large stone chamber where magma erupts from the ground. Only skilled jujutsu sorcerers can survive in this harsh setting.

Jogo can also launch a massive rock attack that is nearly impossible to evade, posing a serious threat. Despite its terrifying nature, there are ways to counter Coffin of the Iron Mountain. Gojo Satoru, a skilled jujutsu sorcerer, nullified Jogo’s attack and overwhelmed him by using his own Domain Expansion. This strategic approach proved effective in defeating Jogo’s formidable technique.

3. Mahito’s Domain Expansion – Self-Embodiment of Perfection

In the fight between Mahito, Yuji, and Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen, Mahito showed impressive growth, especially when he unleashed his powerful Domain Expansion. Mahito can manipulate souls with his touch, making him more dangerous than other special-grade cursed spirits.

Despite being a newer and less mature spirit than Jogo, Mahito is considered a powerful Special Grade cursed spirit with the strength of at least three of Sukuna’s fingers. Even without his Domain Expansion, Mahito’s natural ability is strong enough to knock out an opponent with one hit.

Fans are eager for Mahito to have a dedicated episode exploring his abilities, power, and backstory. Thanks to Yuji’s intervention, Mahito’s Domain Expansion didn’t kill Nanami, a Grade 1 sorcerer.

2. Satoru Gojo’s Domain Expansion – Unlimited Void

Gojo is a really likable character because he’s both charming and good-looking. He’s also super strong. In the Jujutsu Kaisen series, he’s introduced as the strongest, and he confidently says that defeating a fully revived Sukuna would be a bit tiring. In the first season, every smart cursed spirit is told to stay away from Gojo, and there’s a good reason for that.

Like Megumi, Gojo has inherited techniques, such as Six Eyes, which lets him use cursed energy a lot, and Limitless, which gives him control over space. On top of these abilities, Gojo was born with high intelligence, plus he’s really strong, fast, and has quick reflexes. His Unlimited Void power is so strong that it completely paralyzes the cursed spirit Jogo when it’s revealed.

1. Kenjaku’s Domain Expansion – Womb Profusion

Kenjaku’s Domain Expansion, Womb Profusion, hasn’t been fully revealed yet, but what we’ve seen already makes it one of the scariest in Jujutsu Kaisen. Unlike regular domains, Kenjaku cast his without creating a separate space with a barrier technique, a rarity.

Ryomen Sukuna is the only other character in Jujutsu Kaisen who has successfully used this type of domain. Fushiguro Megumi attempted a similar borderless Domain, but it was less refined than Kenjaku’s or Sukuna’s.

Casting a Domain Expansion without borders has almost no disadvantages when facing an opponent trapped in the user’s space. By leaving Womb Profusion open, Kenjaku essentially made Tengen’s entire space his own domain, eliminating the need for an inner barrier to be destroyed.
