Currently, Sukuna is fighting Yuta and Yuji who have webbed a brilliant plan to remove Sukuna from Megumi Fushiguro’s body and save the character. However, the problem with the plan is that the King of the Curses already knows about this idea, and looking at the past events, the ball always drops in Sukuna’s court.

All of this has led to the development of a theory on X(Formerly Twitter) that as Sukuna is aware of the plan Yuta and Yuji have made, he is going to craft an evil idea of his own and use it to take over Yuta’s body making him the third character who lost his body to the King of Curses.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead

Theory Suggests Sukuna Will Take Over Yuta Okkotsu’s Body

At the very beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 251, a shocking discovery was unearthed about Yuta having the capability to attack Sukuna with his own Cleave technique mainly because either he or Rika consumed the King of Curses’ last finger before the fight.

According to recent speculation on X by @rikascursehole, Yuta might be the King of Curses’ potential next victim and would most likely be taken over by him if he was the one who ate Sukuna’s finger. As demonstrated thus far with Yuji Itadori and Megumi in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, Sukuna can possess anyone who eats his fingers.

However, looking at Yuta’s intelligence and battle knowledge, Yuta does not seem to be that stupid to put his own life in danger by eating Sukuna’s finger. Therefore it is unlikely that this theory holds any ground. But if somehow it came to be true, Sukuna possessing Yuta’s body can be a very dangerous situation for the sorcerers.

What Will Happen if Sukuna Takes Over Yuta?

If the theory turns out to be true, which is doubtful, Yuta would be putting his allies’ lives in dangerous circumstances as well as his own since the results would be potentially fatal if the King of Curses accomplished his goal of taking possession of his body. Yuta is, without a doubt, probably the most powerful sorcerer of the modern era, coming in second only to Gojo.

It is clear why Sukuna possessing Yuta could very well represent the end of the world in Jujutsu Kaisen. It would also make sense for Sukuna to pick whether or not to switch bodies at this point in the narrative, given that he is losing his grasp on Megumi’s body as a result of Yuji’s direct attack on his soul.

Although it would be great to see Yuta’s body being possessed by the King of Curses, it would on the other increase the dangers for the sorcerers as they would have no way of defeating Sukuna then. Not even Gojo Satoru would be able to achieve this feat.
