The Shibuya arc in Jujutsu Kaisen is loved by fans. It’s the best arc in the whole series, even better than the ones that come after it. Like in many JJK arcs, the Shibuya Incident arc has a lot of characters who die.
Things are getting worse in Shibuya in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. Nanami, a character, recently died, making fans sad. The situation keeps getting worse in each episode.
After Nanami’s death, Yuji fights Mahito, the most disliked villain in Jujutsu Kaisen. Not only Yuji but also Nobara fights Mahito. Even though it’s just a clone, it’s really strong.
Mahito figures out that Nobara is Yuji’s friend, and he thinks killing her will make Yuji even more sad. The next episode will show the ongoing battle between the young sorcerers and Mahito.

3. Jogo
Jogo, a powerful curse in the Shibuya Incident arc, initially fought Gojo alongside Hanami. Although he survived that encounter, his fate took a turn when he confronted Sukuna after Yuji consumed the cursed fingers.
Despite his efforts, Jogo couldn’t defeat Sukuna and met his demise in the battle. Sukuna, however, acknowledged Jogo’s strength before his death. In summary, Jogo played a significant role in the Shibuya Incident but ultimately lost in a fight against Sukuna, who recognized his strength before his demise.
2. Nanami Kento
In the Shibuya incident of Jujutsu Kaisen, Nanami played a significant role, facing challenges and fighting vigorously. His encounters included a tough battle with Dagon, where, despite his efforts, he was overpowered.
The story takes a tragic turn when he confronts Mahito, resulting in Mahito killing Nanami in front of Yuji. This event became a crucial moment, leading to a powerful and dramatic showdown.
1. Nobara Kugisaki
Nobara joined the fight in Shibuya with Yuji, a bit later. Physical attacks don’t work on Mahito, but Nobara’s Resonance can hit him directly. In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 19, Nobara and Yuji team up to defeat Mahito.
However, Mahito grazes Nobara’s face, leading to a flashback of her childhood. Aoi Todo and Aarata Nitta arrive, with Aarata stopping her bleeding temporarily. He takes her for treatment, but her survival is uncertain. The manga hasn’t revealed her status since, making it unclear if she survived in Shibuya.
