Where is Yuta Okkotsu in Shibuya Arc?

The first hint of Yuta’s character in Season 1 and then ultimately unveiling him in the prequel feature film piqued fans’ interest in the mystery sorcerer who even had Aoi Todo interested in the first season. The audience fell in love with the timid and innocent-looking Yuta Okkutso, who was the target of his cursed energy. By the end of JJK 0, Yuta Okkutso has awakened the full strength within him and, astonishingly, defeats Geto all by himself. At the end of the film, Yuta is seen training abroad with Miguel, a foreign sorcerer who initially allied with Geto.

Yuta Okkutso is currently training overseas in Season 2 and has no role in the current Shibuya Incident narrative. This confirms that Yuta will not be available for the Shibuya Arc, but he will enter the story in the future arcs unleashing his full potential and living up to the conversation Gojo had with Kenjaku about Yuta.

Yuta Okkotsu’s Return in Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuta will join the main characters in Season 3 and will play an important role in the plot. If the anime adaptation closely follows the manga, Yuta will make an appearance in the Itadori Extermination Arc. Itadori’s Extermination arc is yet another action-packed story arc that shows Yuta Okkotsu’s martial abilities. He is tasked with assassinating Yuji Itadori and gets himself in a Binding Vow with the Jujutsu higher-ups. Yuta Okkotsu is no longer the innocent child shown in the prequel film. In reality, his demeanor shifts significantly after Jujutsu Kaisen season 2.
