It remains a mystery who the actor Rebecca Ferguson talks about abusing her on a movie set. Apparently, this person of interest made her cry to the point that she had to work with a tennis ball instead of facing the costar.
While speculations were thrown here and there, she made sure to ascertain that it was not Tom Cruise, Hugh Jackman, and Dwayne Johnson. Now, a new viral clip also suggests that it was not Ewan McGregor.
Rebecca Ferguson Opens Up About A Costar Who Bullied Her
In her interview via Reign with Josh Smith podcast, actress Rebecca Ferguson spills the tea on a costar who she allegedly had a feud with on a movie set.
“I did a film with an absolute idiot of a costar. I remember there was a moment and this human being was being so insecure and angry because this person couldn’t get the scenes out. But because this person was No. 1 on a call sheet, there was no safety net for me, so no one had my back, and I would cry walking off set.”
Despite feeling beaten up, the Swedish star admitted standing up for herself was one of her proudest moments.
“This person would literally look at me in front of the whole crew and say, ‘You call yourself an actor? This is what I have to work with? What is this?’ And I stood there just breaking. I remember being so scared. I looked at this person, and I said, ‘You can F off. I’m going to work toward a tennis ball. I never want to see you again.’ ”
In a viral clip on Twitter, a fan shared their own opinion on Ferguson’s case and concluded, based on the interview, that the abuser was not Ewan McGregor. In the video, the pair were seen exchanging shoes, and Ferguson even got a whiff of McGregor’s shoes, quipping, “Good smell.” Watch the clip below:

Ferguson and McGregor previously worked together on Mike Flanagan’s 2019 supernatural horror film Doctor Sleep. Both stars received nominations at the Saturn Awards for Best Actor and Actress categories.
Ewan McGregor’s Costars Loved Working With Him
Like Rebecca Ferguson, who shares a close friendship with Ewan McGregor, the actor’s former costar in Moulin Rouge also has nice things to say. Nicole Kidman previously shared on Variety’s Actors on Actors series:
“It’s just gorgeous. It’s such a great thing to share. I always say this: when you get to share something like that together, it’s yours forever. It’s something we all created together and it bonds you in a very particular way, doesn’t it?”
She was referring to all the work and preparations she did and shared with McGregor on the set. In between filming, the actress revealed they also had fun nights out which involved partying and drinking.
While Ferguson remains tight-lipped about the identity of her abuser, it has now become a general consensus that McGregor is one of the nicest guys in Hollywood.
