Star Wars fans know that Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker and his turn to the dark side has become a crucial part of the franchise, but what if he did not? What would have happened had he not rebelled against the Jedi force and most importantly, not become a Sith lord?
These are some of the questions many would have wondered, and Christensen has a good suggestion on what his character would become in an alternate ending, or better yet, in a What If…? universe.
Hayden Christensen Shares His Own Star Wars What If…? Storyline
As per a Twitter post by Star Wars Facts, actor Hayden Christensen pitched his own idea had his iconic character remained on the good side. Check out the post below:

Now, that is a good concept, and many fans expressed their enthusiasm to witness this side of Anakin Skywalker. While it seems unlikely that Lucasfilm or Disney would actually produce a movie to satisfy the Canadian actor’s wish, it would be possible if Star Wars had its own What If…? series.
Interestingly, Christensen expressed his willingness to reprise his role as the Dark Lord of the Sith in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:
“I would love to get to do more, and I’d love to get to continue with Star Wars, and we’ll see. I don’t know what the future holds, and if such an opportunity presents itself, I’ll be there with a big smile on my face. And if it doesn’t, I feel really grateful for getting to come back and getting to do the work that I did in both Obi-Wan and Ahsoka.”
Indeed, his return to the new Star Wars franchises thrilled many fans, and it is no wonder that they still want to see him appear in more projects.

Certainly, a number of fans dig this possibility of a What If…? series for Star Wars, and while it sounds like wishful thinking at the moment, it does not hurt to imagine a world where Anakin Skywalker gets a happy ending.
