It can’t be denied that James Gunn’s writing and the terrific performance by Chukwudi Iwuji made High Evolutionary easily one of the top three MCU villains. Some fans even praised the villain to be more menacing than all the appearances of Kang combined. His aura took no time to raise immense hatred among the fans. This led to many fans demanding the studio make some changes, and turn him into the next Kang the Conqueror.

With the concept of Variants being a very large aspect of the MCU, it’s not so difficult for the makers to turn Iwuji’s High Evolutionary into a Kang Variant. Projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Loki showed that it’s not mandated for the variants to share a common appearance. Moreover, Jonathan Majors‘ managing company dropping him also shows that the future does not look good for the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor.

Presently, Kang the Conqueror has to be a top priority for the studio in their journey to set up the colossal events of Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. Although they are yet to get a final decision, it is highly unlikely that Majors can return to such an important role after his name got involved in such a major legal drama.

While the studio was all set to set up Kang the Conqueror, the ardent comic book fans along with the moviegoers didn’t find him as quite a menacing force as expected. Now will be a good time for the studio to rethink its decision, as Chukwudi Iwuji can be a good choice to play the time-traveling tyrant.
