The first trailer for DC’s Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earth – Part One has been leaked online and judging by the trailer, fans can expect some major crossovers in a multiversal action. The film, which is an animated adaption of the multiverse story, was first announced by Warner Bros. Discovery and DC earlier this year at the San Diego Comic-Con panel.
The Crisis on Infinite Earths’ story revolves around the threat of the Anti-Monitor, who wants to destroy all realities in DC’s multiverse. In the film, The Flash races against time as he attempts to save every reality in existence, encountering Justice League’s evil alternate reality counterparts.

In July, DC announced Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earth – Part One at the San Diego Comic-Con panel (via IGN) along with an animated version of DC’s Watchmen comic book series. The trailer for the upcoming animated movie, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earth – Part One, has been leaked online and has left the DC fandom hyped. With its multiversal story, the movie will feature a crossover that has been never witnessed before.
The release date of the animated film is yet to be confirmed, however, a 2024 release was mentioned at the time. A listing on Amazon France has confirmed the movie will be available on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K starting January 24, 2024.
The story of Crisis on Infinite Earths was first introduced in Crisis on Infinite Earths #1 in 1985
The Crisis on Infinite Earths was a Multiversal catastrophe that destroyed countless parallel universes, and the recreation of a single positive matter universe. The story was narrated in a twelve-issue limited series published from April 1985 until March 1986. Written by Marv Wolfman and penciled by George Pérez, it represents one of the most significant landmark events of the DC Universe, and now fans will finally get an animated version of this catastrophic event.
In the past, DC’s CW Arrowverse shows created their version of Crisis on Infinite Earths with the multi-episode, multi-show Crisis on Infinite Earths event in 2019 showcased in Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman episodes. Multiple sources have revealed over the years that Warner Bros. had been planning a live-action movie based on this event with The Flash as the front.
