Calling Kaiju No. 8’s upcoming premiere driven by anticipation would be an understatement. In a world of Gods and monsters, it is the latter that seems to be making the fans even more hyped than anything else. From Godzilla x Kong to the entire franchise that came before, monsters are a key factor of today’s means of entertainment.
As the film dominates the box office with ease, it is Kaiju No. 8 that can do the same with anime fans. Ironically enough, the series is often compared with Godzilla, both the franchise and the character. Ever since Kajiu No. 8’s manga was released, fans have constantly found an opportunity to compare it with Attack on Titan. There are various similarities between the two. From Eren and Kafka’s motivations to their internal struggles, it can easily be said to have taken inspiration from Hajime Isayama’s magnum opus.

Kaiju No. 8’s release gave it the chance to be compared to not just Isayama’s work but also the most recognized monster in movies, Godzilla. So much so that it was regarded as the Godzilla of anime.
3. Studio Khara
Kaiju No. 8’s roots fall with Godzilla and Studio Khara is responsible for that. While Production I.G. would be taking over the entire anime, the actual Kaiju would be under Khara’s care. The reason why this is perfect is because Khara just so happens to be the studio behind Shin Godzilla and Evangelion.
Knowing that the creators of Godzilla would also be making their way into the upcoming series is more than enough reason for Godzilla X Kong fans to jump in.

Monsters, in today’s day and age, become the driving factor of entertainment. Whether it is by logic or action, if a monster is roaring, the audience is too. Supervillains, actual monsters, monsters in the form of humans; there are versions that connect with the people and those that don’t. Kaiju No. 8 is a world of monsters, one that is likely to bring by an audience with it.

Kaiju No. 8 is breaking the pattern by streaming its episodes at the same time to the entire world. The anime would be premiering in multiple languages at the same time, both subbed and dubbed. This would bring accessibility to fans throughout the world to enjoy the series without having to wait too long.
