Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to flip the MCU’s Multiverse Saga on its head, perhaps recreating the brilliant finale of Avengers: Endgame. Ant-Man 3 will also be the first appearance of Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror in a film, after his MCU debut as He Who Remains in the Disney+ series Loki.

Kang will be ten times stronger than Thanos

Marvel Studios’ Thanos

After Thanos, whose narrative ended in Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the MCU has positioned Kang as its next major enemy. Kang will take a central position in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, the next major event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which Ant-Man 3 will build up.

Reed highlighted Kang’s place in the pantheon of Marvel’s greatest villains in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, as well as how he handled bringing the famous nemesis to the big screen.

“In the comics, Kang has dominion over time, he’s a time traveler. His situation is a little bit different in this movie, which I won’t spoil for you, but he’s someone who, [while] we live very linear lives, from childhood to death, Kang doesn’t exist that way. It struck me as interesting to take the tiniest Avengers — in some people’s minds maybe the least powerful Avengers — and put them up against the most powerful force in the multiverse.”

Kang the Conquer.

It is said that Kang is in possession or wants to possess the Forever Crystal which resides in Chronopolis where Kang is currently residing. This crystal is way more powerful than the infinity stone, unlike the infinity stones which can only destroy one timeline Forever Crystal can affect all timelines anywhere.

Chronopolis was a hub for time travelers and one of the time travelers stole the Heart of Forever, an artifact that used to reside in the city. The time traveler used the artifact to make the Forever Crystal.  So there is a theory that Kang will use the forever Crystal in his Multiverse Time engine.

This will make Kang extremely powerful and allow him to make changes in all timelines. The Kang Dynasty will explore Kang’s power in the truest sense, by the time Avengers: Secret Wars takes place there is a probability that Kang would have altered or fractured multiple timelines to win against the Avengers.
