For years, Taylor Swift and Kanye West have been at odds, sparking a lot of controversy and grabbing people’s attention all over the world. Their rivalry in music has an intriguing past, which took an unexpected turn following this past Sunday’s Super Bowl. Amidst their ongoing beef, there are rumors circulating that Swift got West “kicked out” of the Super Bowl.
Yet, little did the Fearless hitmaker, 34, know that retaliation would come in the form of West’s musical talent and loyal fans. Yes, it seems that the tide has turned again, leaving the former’s loyal fan base disappointed as Yeezy’s new album, Vultures 1, dethrones the billionaire pop star.
West’s latest album is currently streaming incredibly well, despite the controversy surrounding it. With Vultures 1, West seems to be making an official return to the music industry. As the most streamed artist globally on Spotify, he actually eclipsed Swift. It seems Ye’s fans got their revenge on a high note.
Kanye West Surpassed Taylor Swift, Thanks To His New Album
Kanye West broke all streaming records and ranked #1 on almost all of them as he released his most recent album, Vultures 1. The most significant of them all is Spotify, where West overthrew his longtime rival. Ye, 46, surpassed Taylor Swift to take the top spot as the most popular Spotify artist as of last Sunday.

This new information was released in spite of his ongoing criticism from other musicians, including Ozzy Osbourne, who maintains that West used a sample from one of his live songs without giving him credit (via X).
Also, Swift’s turbulent relationship with West is something almost every music lover is aware of. It began when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 Video Music Awards, saying that Beyoncé “had one of the best videos of all time”. Later, West’s song Famous, which he released in 2016, included the line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x / Why? I made that b*tch famous.”
And the most recent Super Bowl incident. After he was allegedly kicked out of the Super Bowl halftime show, it appears that his fans have finally exacted their sweet revenge on Swift. Let’s see some of the tweets showing the resilience displayed by West’s dedicated fan base.
Kanye is obviously 2x bigger than her in and outside USA.

Fast forward to the present day, and West’s Vultures 1 with Ty Dolla Sign has swept the music industry by storm. The album’s title alone is a bold statement, expressing the former’s tenacity in the face of adversity and criticism. With mesmerizing beats and brilliant lyrics, Ye has once again shown why he’s a powerful force to be reckoned with.
Taylor Swift Allegedly Had Kanye West Kicked Out of the Super Bowl?
With the release of his and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 1 and the album finally making its way across the globe, Kanye West is in high spirits. However, he acknowledged that, not too long ago, things were not all that great. When TMZ caught up with Ye on Monday, February 12, after he returned from Super Bowl LVIII, he revealed that, prior to his recent comeback, he had only been bankrupt for a few months the previous year.
“I’ma just be honest with y’all: I was two months from going bankrupt and I put everything I had into it and we moved to Italy. We moved to the factories and we survived. We survived through the cancellation. We back No. 1.”
Additionally, it was reported that West was kicked out of Super Bowl 2024 by Taylor Swift, according to former NFL player Brandon Marshall, after the rapper allegedly bought seats directly in front of her opulent suite.
On his Paper Route podcast on Monday, Marshall made the startling accusation (via Page Six). He alleged:
“So Kanye West pulls up to the Super Bowl. Kanye West buys a ticket right in front of Katy Perry’s booth so anytime they are gonna be showing Katy Perry, Kanye’s face was going to be there — he had a mask on with his logo on the mask.”
Marshall continued by saying that West was trying to “leverage” Swift’s fame in order to “make some” money whenever she was inescapably shown on TV:
“So Taylor Swift gets p*ssed off [and] she makes a call or two — everybody is involved — [and] he gets kicked out the stadium.”
Marshall’s accusations, though, were hardly subtle considering that West and his spouse, Bianca Censori, were both spotted at the game when the CBS broadcast was airing. Moreover, according to Ye’s representative, who informed TMZ:
“This is a completely fabricated rumor. It is not true.”
West was seen sporting a full head covering over a head-turning crucifix mask, while 29-year-old Censori also wore a black latex balaclava. Anyway, as the music industry keeps witnessing this never-ending pursuit of success, one thing is clear: Kanye West is here to stay.
