James Cameron created history with his 1997 romantic drama Titanic with Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. Portraying the love story of Rose and Jack on the sinking ship, the movie went on to become the first film to gross $1 billion at the box office. And Titanic held that place until the release of another Cameron movie in 2009, Avatar. Over the years, the film has become the fourth highest-grossing film in the world, as it still holds the same place in its fans’ heart and has the same impact on its audience.
