Hugh Jackman And Ryan Reynolds’ Social Media Interaction

Jackman and Reynolds announced the news regarding their upcoming Marvel comeback through a video where their fun chemistry is already evident to the fans. Ever since the declaration of their movie, both the stars have repeatedly pulled each other’s leg through their social media channels. It all started when the Logan star jokingly pleaded with the Academy board to not nominate the Red Notice star for his excellent work in Spirited. Jackman stated that the coming year will be extremely tough to work with Reynolds if he received an Oscar nomination.

Ryan Reynolds had his reply ready in the wake of unfolding situations. Reynolds himself nominated Hugh Jackman for his role in The Son. Though The Hitman’s Bodyguard star stated that there was no sarcasm involved, the ending of the video made it very obvious to the audience that there was a lot of sarcasm involved.

“You know last week Hugh Jackman lovingly asked the Academy to not vote for our song ‘Good Afternoon’ in the Best Song category, and well, I’m not going to stoop to that level. I’m going to rise to the occasion and rise above it all and say right now that I loved Hugh’s performance in The Son. There’s zero sarcasm here. No wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Hugh’s performance is literally one of the best of his entire career, and his career is very impressive already. He’s already been nominated for a Golden Globe. So I humbly submit Hugh for your consideration.”

In the end Reynolds can be heard saying something which grabbed a lot of internet’s attention.

Reynolds shared photos of him working out along with his trainer to gain all the muscles to justify his superhero role. In the photo, he can be seen lifting two 60 lbs. of barbells in each hand, with his growing muscles subtly challenging Jackman. There could be no way that the Logan star would have let The Change-Up star flex his muscles in public. In response to Reynold’s muscles, Hugh Jackman went on Instagram to show his muscle growth progress and made sure to tag Reynolds. Reynolds too shared Hugh Jackman’s biceps on his account with the caption, “Kay. I’m drinking milk.”
