Keanu Reeves Broke The Matrix to Feed Everyone in $190M Movie: “He’d just have a food truck for everyone”

Keanu Reeves is literally the nicest man in Hollywood not only for his good looks but for having a great soul. While he has shown his utmost compassion toward his craft, he poured his heart out into treating everyone with sincere generosity which will make you fall in love with him once again. He was last spotted in his iconic Neo role in 2021’s The Matrix Resurrections. During the filming of the project, his co-star revealed how he feed everyone when they faced some issues.

Back in 2021, Ellen Hollman in an interview with Looper shared about Keanu Reeves‘s generous behavior on the set of The Matrix Resurrections. She recalled that the actor was the first one to appear whenever something happened behind the scenes during the filming. 

“Anytime … there is some kind of discrepancy, which happens in production, he was the first one to solve the problem.”

She continued to share a catering issue that happened when the film was in its pre-production phase in Germany.

“Because, Germany, there’s language barriers, things happen.”

However, he made sure to save the day by helping in any way he can.

“So, he would just have a food truck for everyone.”

She played the supporting role of Echo in the film. As for the Constantine star, his other small gestures helped him win everyone’s hearts on set other than his great acting.

Hollman further shared how her co-star, helped everyone with the easy movement of their bags and equipment. For that, he hired car services. Even though he always ends up being in the spotlight due to his kind heart, she shared how he thinks quite otherwise.

“Keanu Reeves is not someone who desires attention, does not desire the limelight, he does not desire acknowledgment nor does he desire accolades.”

She knows the megastar due to his John Wick franchise as her husband, Stephen Dunlevy, is a stunt coordinator associated with 87eleven. The team is the action design team for the film series, thus making her familiar to him.

She had nothing but praise for the star stating,

“He is by far the most humble artist that I have ever had the honor of meeting. As a fellow performer, who’s been in the industry over 20 years, I can say that his heart and his kindness are what has allowed him to become the megastar that he is today.”

His kind nature is no longer a secret to the world but he continues to stay grounded which is one of the traits why fans adore him. As for his 2021 film, it was a box-office disappointment earning $159 million worldwide against a production budget of $190 million. But, Reeves’s charm continued to stay prominent in the film.
