John Wick 4 is Keanu Reeves’ Hardest Physical Role

Keanu Reeves has shared that his upcoming film John Wick 4, will feature some of the best action scenes from the franchise. During an interview with Total Film, he shared that the fourth installment in the film series has the “most action of any film” in the John Wick franchise.

The Knock Knock star also called his upcoming film a “big show” as he said that the difference between the action sequences is by a “good margin.” Reeves, who has worked in several action films, including Lana Wachowski’s The Matrix, also called it the “hardest physical role” of his career.

“John Wick: Chapter 4 was the hardest physical role I’ve ever had in my career so far. They really trained me up to be able to have what we call the toolbox.”

He also shared how he learned new driving skills to bring back the car-fu in the film series. Reeves shared that he enjoyed learning the new techniques, which included “180s, forward-into-reverse 180s, reverse into-forward 270s.”

Keanu Reeves seems excited about John Wick 4 and the upcoming John Wick spin-off, Ballerina featuring Ana de Armas. The Constantine star is also expected to have a special appearance in the spin-off.

Keanu Reeves Talks About John Wick Spin-off Ballerina 

The upcoming spin-off, Ballerina, will feature Ana de Armas as Rooney, a ballerina who seeks revenge for her family. Keanu Reeves will also make an appearance in the upcoming film, which is also expected to feature a fight scene between him and Armas.

During his interview, he also talked about the Ballerina as he called it a “cool story.” He also said that the director Len Wiseman has a vision and said that there is a reason behind John Wick’s presence in the spin-off.

The Speed star also talked about working with the Blonde star in Ballerina. He said, “Working with Ana was great. She really loves action, and she’s really good at it.” Ana de Armas has also shared her experience working with the Point Break star and called him the best. She shared that the upcoming spin-off is on another level.  

John Wick: Chapter 4 is set to release on March 24th.
