“We fight on the stairs leading up to the Sacré Coeur, and we filmed that for a while and a lot of shenanigans happen there. We film in this kind of street fight scene in a roundabout – that was pretty crazy. I have a whole sequence inside the Osaka Continental with nunchucks and weapons, and Donnie Yen with a sword. What! They were all challenging. But the ‘challenging’ is the fun… It wouldn’t be fun if it was easier. We’re not doing this to make it easy.”

The film also included some impressive car-fu, showcasing Reeves’s stunt driving skills in a show-stopping style. Reeves revealed that he underwent extensive training to master various driving techniques, including 180-degree spins, drifting, and other impressive maneuvers.

“We took the car-driving to the next level, which I really enjoy. There’s 180s, forward-into-reverse 180s, reverse-into-forward 270s, drifting… So it was really fun to get a chance to learn those skills, and to play.”
