As a result, it seems Strong is done and dusted with his time as Kendall Roy, and here is how the internet feels about it.
Jeremy Strong Moves On From Succession Role As Fans Miss His Character
After gaining recognition for his Broadway roles, actor Jeremy Strong became a household name with his performance as Kendall Roy in Succession. However, despite the fanfare associated with the character, Strong seemingly has a desire to refresh his image and separate himself from Kendall Roy. The actor was recently interacting with some fans and signing autographs when one fan claimed that they missed Strong’s character from Succession.
“Oh. I don’t.”
Strong made the above comment in response to the fan’s appreciation for his work on the show. As a result, Strong made it clear that he did not miss playing the character. Kendall Roy is a multifaceted character and given Strong’s tendency for method acting, the role certainly must have been demanding on the actor. As a result, it is understandable that Strong has moved on from the role.

Fans of the show and the actor had varying degrees of response to Strong putting the character of Kendall Roy in the rearview mirror. While some fans expressed that they still missed the character, most agreed that seeing Strong leave behind the inner turmoil of Kendall was a refreshing sight.
Strong is currently starring as Doctor Thomas Stockmann in the Broadway adaptation of the Norwegian play An Enemy of the People. Thus, it seems Strong has returned to his theater roots and evidently has moved on from his work in Succession. He is also set to play Roy Cohn in the upcoming biographical film The Apprentice.
All four seasons of Succession are streaming on Max.
