However, he unexpectedly withdrew from a Thanksgiving Service, citing a personal matter. He was set to join other royals at St George’s Chapel to commemorate King Constantine of the Hellenes.
Kensington Palace informed reporters just before the service, and Prince William personally notified King Constantine’s family. Despite concerns over Kate’s recovery, a Palace aide assured she “continues to be doing well.” The Princess hasn’t been seen publicly since her January 16 surgery at the London Clinic. Her last appearance was on Christmas Day last year at Sandringham House.
Kensington Palace has clarified that they won’t provide regular updates on Kate Middleton’s recovery. Following her surgery announcement, they mentioned she was unlikely to resume public duties until after Easter. Kate has chosen not to disclose her condition, with the Palace expressing her desire to maintain normalcy for her children and keep her medical information private.
“She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.”
This news coincides with King Charles withdrawing from public engagements due to undisclosed cancer treatment. Queen Camilla maintains a busy schedule, and Prince William has adjusted his timetable to support his young family. His most recent appearance was at the BAFTAs on Sunday evening.
