Call of Duty can be one alluring game capable of drawing the interest of even the best. Several renowned celebrities including Mila Kunis, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and more have revealed in the past that they play the popular shooter title. Kevin Durant, a professional basketball player, also appears to be one of them.

However, the game isn’t having a good time with several fans complaining about the persisting issues. It has seen a fair share of ebb and flow and is currently in a latter phase with Modern Warfare 3 failing to capture fans’ attention akin to its other sought-after titles. Durant has now revealed he has been addicted to the game but that doesn’t affect his performance.

Call of Duty fans are waiting for the next game in the series to arrive which is rumored to be set up in the Black Ops timeline. Kevin Durant isn’t just actively beating players in the NBA but in CoD too, however, his friends seem to be better than him, a little bit.

The celebrated Phoenix Suns player shared his take on the popular military franchise in his latest post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). “So addicting bro,” he says. Durant also suggests getting a “gaming crew” for the game.

Strangers can become friends through the game, at least that was the case here. He said:

Dudes I’ve never even seen before, but we talk and vibe every day on just the game, and they feel like my friends now. So when I see ’em, it’s going to be much love. You know what I’m saying? It’s a real community man.

It’s really worthwhile to imagine the reaction of random players when they come to know Kevin Durant is by their side in the game.

It Doesn’t Seem So Bad, Many Are Still Playing the Game

Many fans believe that Call of Duty has gone bad lately.

Fans are divided over the current state of Call of Duty. While many have complained that the game has gotten bad provided the cheating and glitches, some believe the game is just fine and they don’t see a reason to agree with this. Interestingly, celebrities like Joe Rogan too agree with the cheating part.

However, Activision’s recent statement tells a different story. The COD maker says, “Player engagement is up with more players playing now than this time last year.” If that’s the case, the fans having issues must be having a hard time getting kills.

Whatever the case is, it is now time to look forward to the upcoming game. The next title is said to be a Black Ops game and will take place in a Gulf War setting. The fans sure do have a lot of hopes for it, especially the ones not enjoying COD at the moment.
