Super Soldiers in the MCU aren’t a new concept, one of the most popular characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America, is a super soldier himself after all! However there has been no shortage of such a type of characters in the franchise- we’ve had Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian (from Thunderbolts), and even Emil Blonsky being introduced as super soldiers (or made into one).

However, there is one such super soldier that has not been introduced into the MCU yet. Sentry, Marvel’s answer to DC’s Superman is one such character whose powers as a super soldier match that of Clark Kent’s, and he was almost added to the upcoming movie Thunderbolts!

According to reports from insiders KC Walsh and CanWeGetSomeToast on Twitter, the main villain that the group of antiheroes will be facing off is the mighty super soldier named Sentry, who is quite the formidable force in the comics. However, it has also been clarified that the brain behind it all will ironically be Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the director of the MCU’s version of the CIA.
