Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine is the first film from Fox’s X-Men franchise that will be crossing over to the MCU. This comes after Fox’s acquisition by Disney which occurred in 2019, clearing the path for the X-Men to be inculcated into the MCU. The upcoming film will also see Hugh Jackman return as Wolverine.

The film is all set to release next week on July 26 and the team has been in promotion mode. A new TV spot was released recently which expanded on a scene where multiple Deadpools appear from different realities. Among them are Dogpool, a cowboy Deadpool, and the fans even got a closer look at Lady Deadpool.

It has been speculated that Reynolds’ wife and Gossip Girl star Blake Lively will be playing the character while the Taylor Swift cameo that has long been hinted at has also been attributed to the character. The new look has led to fans being more confused.

With only ten more days left for the film to release, all questions will soon get answers.

Rob McElHenney Will Be Making A Cameo In Deadpool & Wolverine

One of the most anticipated aspects of the upcoming MCU film Deadpool & Wolverine, apart from seeing the two superheroes finally teaming up is the cameos that the makers have been teasing. Many classic characters are set to make appearances in the film, with some already revealed in the trailers.

Apart from Jennifer Garner’s Elektra and Tyler Mane’s Sabertooth, Ryan Reynolds confirmed that his Wrexham co-chair and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney in will be making a cameo in the film. He said in the show Welcome to Wrexham,

Because of my busy schedule, I had to invite my co-chair, Rob McElhenney, to the set of Deadpool in London to discuss all things that are Wrexham. And, yes, I did have to promise him a role in the upcoming Deadpool film.

While the pair did not reveal which character he would be playing, many speculated that McElhenney would be playing a TVA agent.
