Criticism Against Tite Kubo By Fans

Kurosaki Ichigo’s journey started in 2001, and since then it has been entertaining fans continuously. Earlier, it was in the Bleach anime series, and now they are doing the same with the sequel series, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. However, not everyone is a fan of Ichigo’s adventure against Arrancars, Quincies, and Soul Reapers.

As Bleach has been going on for almost 25 years, many fans have grown to hate the series and have openly admitted to this hatred. They have an array of reasons behind this hatred. The first one is the genre of the story that was created by Kubo. Fans expected Bleach to be a mystery story because of the categories it falls into. And although the series has its mysterious moments, it primarily focuses on the action sequences.

Another thing that the fans find annoying about Kubo and his magnum opus is that the manga creator has repeated one narrative multiple times. This narrative involves one of his friends getting kidnapped and Ichigo fighting against the world to save them. While it may look interesting initially, fans have grown bored of this storyline.

According to the Bleach fan, Bleach has always been a story that follows the action genre. The mystery was never the main focus of the story.

Kubo is known in the entire manga community as one of the best action sequence creators of all time, and he has showcased this talent many times in the series. There are elements that intrigue fans, but the story is more about the Soul Reapers and their way of defending their Soul Society.

Another thing that Kubo gets a bad reputation for is the fact that Ichigo does not have any goals or ambitions in his life. His only goal is to protect the people he loves, and because the narrative is focused on this particular ambition, the story tends to get repetitive. This is why, despite being hated so much, Bleach is considered one of the best anime and manga series.

You can watch Bleach on Hulu.
