Kung Fu Panda 4 trailer racked up more than 142 million views across channels. And that too in just one day. TikTok was the major platform that helped the animated comedy’s trailer fetch most of the views.

It surpassed the movie that made a total profit of $1.246 billion worldwide — the highest-grossing movie of 2023 and the highest-grossing movie based on a video game.

Yes, right, it’s Chris Pratt’s The Super Mario Bros. But that wasn’t the standalone Universal animated film that Kung Fu Panda 4 outperformed. As per the studio, titles including Minions 2, Sing 2, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish are also on the list. The movie’s trailer also rocketed to the top of YouTube’s trending page.
