Don’t hate Kurt Russell right away.
Ted Bundy, America’s infamous serial killer who confessed to 30 murders committed in seven states, escaped from prison twice. The MCU star, Russell, may have saved his life and his escape accidentally.
Russell has been a macho man with all his charisma under his sleeves. The actor, however, may have saved Bundy, but he had no direct involvement. Russell accidentally fed the killer, leaving his food unattended.
Kurt Russell Will Accidently Find a Way To Cross Path With Killers
Kurt Russell has a long and astounding career with iconic titles, including The Thing and Bone Tomahawk. The actor has been a star for several decades, and he shined in showbiz with his immaculate charisma. Beyond acting, Russell has one significant incident, which could be surprising for many fans. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! celebrity siblings Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson reflected on a specific story about their step-father, Russell. There’s a lot of testosterone in him, Kate said, adding, “he’s really interesting too because we don’t really, everybody always talks about my mom.”
“I feel like a lot of times it’s like you know that becomes a topic of conversation but Kurt is just such an interesting man. Like there’s just so much there’s so many things people don’t know about Kurt. Oh God, I mean there’s a million there’s, a there’s always something he always finds himself in some sort of scenario.”
Adding more to Kurt’s life and his accidental encounters with serial killers, Oliver added to his sister’s comment saying “he always, he’s always crossing paths somehow with uh, Killers.” Of course, Russell is unharmed, but his stories surrounding killers are definitely eyebrow-raising.
How Kurt Russell Accidentally Saved Ted Bundy’s Life?
The gravy is thicker in the story of the unfortunate event where Russell is believed to have saved one of the most notorious serial killers in America’s history, Ted Bundy. “So he had a run in with Ted Bundy. He beat up, uh wait a minute he beat up, Tex Watson who was Charlie Manson’s right-hand guy,” Oliver told Jimmy Kimmel.
“So the Ted Bundy thing… There’s grains of salt all over the place. I’m not sure but the story with the Ted Bundy. Ted Bundy escaped from Pitkin County Jail which was in Colorado. He was living there at the time. This is a crazy story, Kurt was camping. He had his plate of food, went to go get a beer something, comes back and his plate of food is gone. Ted Bundy then gets caught and recounts sort of how he survived after escaping and said he found, you know, a guy camping in the woods with his friends, he leaves the thing and he go grabs and eats his food.”
On June 7, 1977, Bundy escaped from prison for the first time after attempting to disappear into the mountains, taking shelter in an abandoned cabin for a while. Eventually, he escaped the mountain but got caught again. Thankfully, Russell never had to encounter the notorious nightmare. Russell recently appeared in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, currently streaming on Apple TV+.
