A Second Patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 is Unveiled by Larian Studios as Fans Celebrate a New Ending for a Favorite Character
The post made by Larian on Twitter/X (that you can see below) first announces a brand new epilogue for Karlach, a character beloved by fans who was the romantic option of many protagonists throughout the community. In addition, the developers promise the removal of co-op avatars from the party, performance improvements, and more about “The Future of Baldur’s Gate 3, and your part in it”.

The original tweet then continues saying:
“Is your party haunted by the ghosts of Co-op Buddies past? Shove them in Withers’ Wardrobe of Wayward Friends and free up that party space! Coming soon to a Baldur’s Gate 3 near you.”
Larian is now offering a fun and creative way to solve the problems of offline friends sticking around and disrupting the party.

Returning to the subject of Karlach, the romanceable tiefling is a major character who is a member of the Illithid, the race of Mind Flayers known for psychic powers and sinister ways which play a key role in the story. Throughout the narrative, players encounter Karlach navigating the dangerous and mysterious Faerûn.
Karlach’s presence shrouds in danger and enigma, which boosts the game’s overall sense of intrigue and suspense. As fans who played, and interacted with Karlach, discovering his motives and making critical choices for the course of the game’s story, alongside the potentiation of social media popularity, it became one of the biggest, if not the main, Romance options among the many that this game presents.
