Fans are Concerned About the Third Dune Sequel

Although Grode announced via THR about the progress of the third sequel, fans seemed to be worried about a different thing. Sparking debate online, fans addressed the fact that Josh Grode called the third sequel “Dune: Part Three”. Claiming that the title of the film plays a significant role, especially when it’s being adapted from a piece of literature, fans argued that the third installment should be named accordingly. Instead of Dune: Part Three netizens claimed that the movie should be named Dune: Messiah

Claiming that it would be lame to call the potential sequel as Part Three, fans begged in the comment section to name it Dune: Messiah instead. Considering that Frank Herbert named the 1969 sequel of his original 1965 novel as Dune Messiah, fans believe it is only right to call the third installment by the same name. So far fans’ concerns haven’t been addressed by the studio or the ones associated with the film.

Dune: Part Two is currently running in theatres worldwide.
