The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Tropic Thunder star Ben Stiller helmed the director chair for the first season of Severance with Aoife McArdle. The show was a huge hit on Apple TV Plus, and that has cleared the room for a second season.
The official X handle of Apple TV posted a photograph of Adam Scott from the show without any caption on January 2, and the subtle indication elevated the level of excitement among fans.
Later, in a retweet, a fan asked Stiller for a sign tagging the actor, “Give us a sign @BenStiller.” To this, the actor/director responded, “We are working on it.” Certainly, good news for fans in the New Year.
Alongside Scott, Severance season 1 also stars Britt Lower, Patricia Arquette, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, and legendary Christopher Walken. The show was renewed for a second season at Apple TV, as confirmed by the studio in August 2022.

While plot details and storyline for Severance Season 2 are still under wraps, the Studio earlier revealed that there will be an inclusion of eight new cast members alongside the main cast of the show. Details of the release date of Severance season 2 are still under wraps, but fans are optimistic that season 2 will hit the streaming giant in 2024.
