In a recent Tweet, Netflix posted pictures of a billboard that had a short message for all Henry Cavill fans who love him as Geralt. Netflix posted a series of pictures of a billboard that read, “Yes, He’s still Geralt In Season 3, The Witcher.” This once again ignited the topic of Liam Hemsworth replacing the Justice League action in the upcoming season of the fantasy drama series. This post on Twitter received 1.4 million views. Even after Cavill announced his exit from the series, fans are still hoping he would come back to play the lead role. 

This post also indicated that even Netflix isn’t very sure about how people will respond to The Dressmaker actor taking over the character in season 4. Many online users predicted that the upcoming season may be a total failure because fans are already demanding to bring back the Enola Holmes actor.

Henry Cavill said he felt a connection with his character Geralt

Due to Cavill’s outstanding performance in the fantasy series, the series attracted many devoted viewers. The 40-year-old actor excelled in his role and won fans over with his portrayal of Geralt. During an interview, while talking about his character in The Witcher, the British actor stated that he felt a connection with his character Geralt of Rivia. While talking about Geralt, the Enola Holmes 2 actor said,

“I really feel a connection to Geralt and who he is and his nature, especially from the books. And having played the game for many, many, many hours, it was something that I had a connection with. And so it was just about bringing a version of me, which is a version of Geralt, into Lauren’s show.”

He further added,

“Geralt always wants to do the right thing. And his intention is there: His goal is to do the right thing, make the right choice, and protect the people who need protecting. But he’s also very willing to do some of the necessary, harder things that are required. And that may be from my military upbringing where I have that trait.”
