Conor McGregor found himself as the highest-paid athlete in the world back in 2021 after he reportedly earned $180 million! Well, Taken star Liam Neeson seems to have a personal grudge against the UFC champion as he revealed to Men’s HealthTalking about the UFC, Neeson claimed that it looked more like a bar fight rather than a fighting event and how Conor McGregor gave Ireland a bad name!

“I hate it…. That little leprechaun Conor McGregor, he gives Ireland a bad name. I know he’s fit, and I admire him for that. But I can’t take it. UFC I can’t stand. That to me is like a bar fight. I know the practitioners are like, ‘No, you’re wrong – the months of training we do’”.

“The lightsaber fight in The Phantom Menace. Ewan McGregor and myself. I’ll tell you what we did the first day we had to take out lightsabers out. And Ewan and I did this at the exact same time. We pulled out lightsabers out and went ‘dzhhhhhhewww.’ George Lucas said, ‘You don’t have to do the sound effects; we put those in later.’ We felt like tw*ts.”

Well, reason or not, it seems that Liam Neeson does hate the UFC but also enjoys making lightsaber sounds with Ewan McGregor. The actor was last seen in the 2023 movie In the Land of Saints and Sinners, while he is associated with 7 upcoming projects in various stages of development.
