Henry Cavill is the dream man of many. He stole everyone’s hearts as Superman and gained a massive fan following that supports every film of his. His Man of Steel co-star, Amy Adams, was also apparently one of the people who harbored a crush on the beefed-up star. But she wasn’t alone.

Apparently, her daughter Aviana was a fan of Cavill or rather the actor’s b*tt. So during the shoot of Man of Steel, she did something that made her mother reprimand her and led Cavill to say that both of them are similar. Also, apparently, Adams’ daughter wasn’t impressed with her mom’s role in the film.

In an interview with Chelsea Lately, Amy Adams, who starred as Lois Lane in Man of Steel with Henry Cavill, talked about a hilarious and scandalous incident that her daughter, Aviana, who was little at that time, caused. Her daughter reached out and grabbed Cavill’s b*tt causing massive embarrassment to her mother. Adams said:

Apparently, Cavill wasn’t wrong to say that because the actress admitted that “I always had my hands on his (Henry Cavill) chest even when we weren’t doing a scene.” In another interview with ET, she offered more details on the incident and said, “She (Aviana) met him (Henry Cavill) when she was a year and a half, and the first thing she did– She hates that I tell this story. She touched his booty.”

The Enchanted actress further said, “She just reached out and he was like, ‘Hmm. Your daughter?’ And I’m like, ‘Yep.” He’s like, ‘Do you train her to do that?'” It looks like the Batman v Superman star was a bit miffed at the touch. So what does Henry Cavill think of this interaction?

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Henry Cavill explained his version of Amy Adams’ b*tt grab story. He said, “Um, yeah. Amy’s little daughter, I think she just…I happened to be turned away from her, and because I was turned away–she was always quite shy when I tried to talk to her–she then saw the opportunity to actually look at my outfit. And she wanted to touch it. And so she reached out and she just happened to be at the bottom height and it was just then that Amy caught her hand and said, “No, you can’t do that!” So that’s the story.

Also, Amy Adams once mentioned that her daughter was thoroughly unimpressed by her Lois Lane character. The Justice League actor said,

“She was really focused on Superman for a long time and now she’s starting to be curious about Lois. She just started asking questions. […] ‘So, what work do you do with Henry?’ and I’m like, ‘Well, he’s Superman’ and ‘Who are you with him?’ I’m like, ‘I’m his girlfriend.’ She was not impressed.”

Right now, the DCEU is about to cease existing once Aquaman 2 releases in theaters. James Gunn’s Superman: Legacy will kickstart his DCU and it will star a new actor as the last son of Krypton. It now remains to be seen who bags the coveted role.

Man of Steel is on HBO Max, and Superman: Legacy releases on 11 July 2025.
