Mia Goth Reportedly Joined the Cast of Blade as Lilith

Recent reports have claimed that, followed by several ups and downs, Blade has got some promoting updates. The True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto has reportedly joined the project and is working on the film’s script. Reports also claimed that Pizzolatto is rewriting Blade’s script.

Followed by these reports, insider Daniel Richtman has revealed that the X actress Mia Goth has reportedly been cast as the Mother of Demons, Lilith, in the upcoming film. Richtman claimed on his Patreon that “Mia Goth is playing Lilith.”

The insider further mentioned that he is not sure which version of Lilith would be seen in the Mahershala Ali feature. Daniel Richtman also claimed that the Old actor Aaron Pierre’s character had been written off of the script, and Delroy Lindo is allegedly cast as the classic villain Deacon Frost.

Fans Concerned About MCU’s Blade

Bassam Tariq, who was set to direct the film, had to leave the production reportedly due to some scheduling conflicts. Stacy Osei-Kuffour reportedly worked on the film’s screenplay initially, which was later re-written by Michael Starrbury and now, allegedly, again by Nic Pizzolatto.

The recent writer’s strike has also affected the film’s production. The constant alteration in the production and the alleged casting of Mia Goth as Lilith in the upcoming movie has caused a burst among fans. As the news broke out, they took to Twitter to share their opinion and claimed that the Mahershala Ali starter “is never getting made.

Many even said that the studio should scrap the film and start over with the vampire hunter. They also said that Disney might not do justice to the character and his story, as they usually avoid anything related to “blood and horror in it.” Fans shared their concern about the constantly delayed production of the film when it is only more than a year from release.

Blade is set to release on 6 September 2024.
