With Will Smith and Martin Lawrence teaming up once again for the fourth part of their iconic Bad Boys franchise, things are about to get crazy. With the film on the verge of release, the first screening of Bad Boys: Ride or Die got a little crazy!

Having an extensive career in Hollywood since the 1990s cost Will Smith quite dearly when he slapped Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards back in 2022. With the world turning against Smith, his career took a skydive with his film Emancipation getting the worst of it.
People chanted Will Smith’s name as a hypocrite and constantly mocked the actor for his quick temper. Things took a turn for the worse when his wife Jada Pinkett Smith revealed some personal stories related to her and the actor.
But, it has been two years since the Oscar slap, and people are indeed moving on. Although a majority of people haven’t forgotten (or forgiven) Will Smith for his behavior, the actor is all set to release his upcoming film alongside Martin Lawrence. Starring in Bad Boys 4 or Bad Boys: Ride or Die, the duo appeared at the first screening of the film and had some gifts for fans as well!
Upon arrival, the duo is seen throwing candies at the people. With the crowd cheering and catching these candies, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence seem pumped and excited.

Will Smith showed a golden belt-like object with the words “OUTLAW” written on it. So, in a way, Smith and Martin Lawrence became Willy Wonka but instead of the chocolate factory, people can join them for the premiere of Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
Will Smith And Martin Lawrence’s Bad Boys 4 Will Not Be A Normal Film!
It was veteran director Michael Bay who cast Will Smith and Martin Lawrence together in 1995 with the film Bad Boys. As the chemistry between the two actors was highly praised and the first film received great reviews, Michael Bay directed the 2003 film Bad Boys II after which he left the franchise.
In 2020, film directors Adil & Bilall took up the franchise once again and created Bad Boys for Life, and the film was also highly praised. With the release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die, it seems that the film will have something different than the rest of the franchise.
In an interview with Empire, the King Richard actor revealed that they wanted to do something bigger than the other three films. Stating that they wished to raise the bar for the Bad Boys, here’s what Smith said about his upcoming film:
We wanted to push the envelope of how much life experience and age specificity you can put into these movies. With this movie, we’re being really aggressive in stretching what you can do in a summer action movie.
He further continued,
They found something interesting and different from all the movies we’ve done. In four, you’re gonna see something different.
With directors Bilall and Adil attached to Bad Boys: Ride or Die, it seems that the film might be interesting after all. The film is set for a release date of 7 June, 2024 in theaters across the world.
