Discussing his plans for Christmas with his children, Eddie Murphy was asked about his opinion on Nick Cannon’s ever-expanding family. Recalling the star’s 12-strong streak, Murphy simply shared some words of wisdom for Cannon, ahead of the festive period.

Gearing up for the holidays, Eddie Murphy walked the red carpet at the premiere of his new Christmas comedy, Candy Cane Lane, with his fiancee Paige Butcher. Approached by ET‘s Kevin Frazier, the actor was asked about his plans for his holidays with his family and 10 children.
Eddie Murphy casually discussed his Christmas time traditions, and explained how it always revolves around “just everybody getting together.” Getting deeper into the conversation, Murphy mentioned how he often goes all out for Christmas since he has 10 children and that’s what makes his life even more fulfilling.
“I go all-out on Christmas. I got 10 kids, and all the family comes around, and it’s just a house full of people. That’s my favorite dish.”
Speaking of his 10 children, Eddie Murphy was immediately asked about Nick Cannon. The duo are often compared to each other for housing a massive number of children with different partners. Murphy, who sits with 10 children, therefore shared his opinion on Cannon’s 12 children and his ever-expanding family.

Sharing his opinion on Nick Cannon’s lifestyle and family, Eddie Murphy didn’t hold back his comments. Going all in with it, the actor was asked about his advice for the father of 12. Murphy thus exclaimed and expressed his shock about Cannon’s 12-strong streak.
“Lord have mercy, yeah, no, he don’t need no advice.”
Instead of giving his advice to Nick Cannon, Eddie Murphy personally seemed shocked at the actor’s never-ending family, and his ability to handle it. Therefore, keeping his advice to himself, Murphy simply mentioned that the actor who has 12 children doesn’t need any advice.
The comedy legend himself is a proud father and he loves being a dad. On several occasions, Eddie Murphy has opened up about how much he adores his children and how dearly he has embraced fatherhood. The Shrek star went on to praise his children and claimed to be blessed to have them.
