This seems to be a hint that a tragic fate waits for the most loved antagonist in the series.

This chapter concluded when Hana Kurusu hit the King of Curses with a fully powered Jacob’s Ladder, but what happened to him afterward is yet to be known since the effect of that attack isn’t seen yet. Someday, an important detail from the past could turn out to be the one that leads to Sukuna’s defeat. On the other side, Yuta/Gojo and Sukuna finally finished the fierce battle as both parties emerged from the domains after Sukuna was hit by Hollow Purple.
Yuji and Aoi literally allow the King of Curses no time to breathe or rest. While Hana does finally arrive in time to give the sorcerers a renewed sliver of hope, there is actually a rather small chance of success considering Sukuna has evaded all the strongest attacks thus far. In retrospect, the only cursed technique that really would have been of use against Sukuna was Yorozu’s True Sphere, which was actually really impressive and elusive; it would have stood a good chance of overpowering the King of Curses.
The Potential Poetic Death Of Sukuna That Nobody Could Expect
Probably the only one who really loves Sukuna, likely Yorozu, has a special connection with him that makes it easier to defeat or kill him. What that is saying, if anything, in this paradoxical relationship is that Yorozu’s love for Sukuna might be real and deep enough to give her special understanding or an advantage over him to overpower him.
This means that Yorozu’s love should be able to cancel or lessen Sukuna’s typical defenses or powers, making him far more vulnerable to her. Gege Akutami strikes a great contrast between love and destruction in a complex relationship. Naturally, a surprising development of this turn of events—Yoruzo’s love becoming potentially a weapon of destruction against Sukuna when otherwise protecting and caring—begins with a number of thought-provoking questions regarding their bond and its consequent nature.
How Gege Akutami Envisioned Yorozu’s “True Sphere” Cursed Technique To Be A Major Turning Point
Yorozu’s True Sphere is quite important to the plot because it holds some unique properties that might have given a significant chance against Sukuna’s immense power. If this technique had been performed flawlessly, it would have sealed Sukuna’s fate—quite literally—a critical missed opportunity for the sorcerers. As the story unwinds, fans can only ask themselves one thing: Will Yorozu’s True Sphere be back, or could there be a new technique as powerful as this to defeat the King of Curses himself?.
Knowing well the events of chapter 263 of Jujutsu Kaisen, nobody had an idea of what step would be next. Will Hana’s appearance finally mark a change in the ongoing battle with Sukuna, or will the King of Curses slip away one more time?
