One Piece Live Action has had a record-breaking season 1. Netflix was more than happy to renew the show for a second season. The show received lots of positive feedback from the fans and the critics. One Piece Live Action made a few changes here and there, but it paid off. Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, was one of the members of the production team.

Eiichiro Oda confirmed that One Piece will be back for a season 2 and hinted at Tony Tony Chopper’s entry in the show. He is the most anticipated character for season 2, but Netflix might have planned something bigger for season 2. Monkey D. Luffy has another dream other than being the King of the Pirates. Netflix might pick up a wild fan theory to fulfill the dream in One Piece Season 2.

Every One Piece fan knows that the captain of the Strawhat Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy, aims to be the King of the Pirates one day. But this is not the only dream that he wishes to fulfill. In the One Piece anime, he had told his brothers, Ace and Sabo, about his dream when they were kids. In the Wano arc, Ace told Yamato about the dream. In the manga, Luffy told his dream to crewmates after defeating Kaido.

In all of these scenarios, everyone laughed upon hearing the dream. But what is Luffy’s dream? Well, in none of those mentioned above scenarios did they say it out aloud. So, there is no sure way of knowing his dream. For the moment, it is only a speculation. It is speculated that Monkey D. Luffy’s dream, other than becoming the King of Pirates, is to throw the world’s biggest party.

He probably had this dream since meeting the Red Hair Pirates and their love for partying. It is seen that after every victory, the Strawhats have a lavish party. It will be no different after he becomes the Pirate King. Shanks and Gol D. Roger had the same dream, too. The scale of the party will be massive, and people of every species will be able to enjoy it without any fear.

Netflix’s Plan On One Piece Season 2

Netflix has renewed One Piece Live Action for a second season. They will be looking at several scripts to make it more interesting than the first season. They might consider the wild fan theory about Monkey D. Luffy’s dream. It will not be possible to show it because Luffy has yet to fulfill his dream. They can just have a moment of him saying this to his crewmates. If it happens, it will be the first time that fans will get to hear about it.

Netflix has kept the One Piece essence, but there were major changes, including Merry being killed off. If they plan to go ahead with the dream reveal, it will not be something new for Netflix. But it is all just speculation for now. Fans need to be patient and wait for season 2.
