Something similar happened to the renowned actor Mads Mikkelsen when he received a casting call to appear in the Indiana Jones film series right after his friend called out that he hadn’t been part of the franchise yet.
Mikkelsen has appeared in many incredible films throughout his career. Among them is Harrison Ford starrer Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny in which he appeared in the role of Jürgen Voller.

Recently during an appearance at the Zurich Film Festival (via Variety) the actor shared a surreal experience of his life. The actor stated that getting an opportunity to be cast in such big franchises is a milestone in itself. Further Mikkelsen recalled an incident where his friend mentioned the franchises he has been a part of and then pointed out that he hasn’t appeared in Indiana Jones. Mikkelsen said,
“For a Danish guy, it’s insane to be in these films. My friend made a list of all the franchises I’ve been in and went: ‘This one you haven’t done.’ It was ‘Indiana Jones.’ A week later, I got the phone call.”
Mikkelsen described the moment as “surreal” as it was just a coincidence that a week before he had a conversation with his friend about appearing in the mega-franchise Indiana Jones, and it happened for real.

Mads Mikkelsen is popularly known for playing villainous roles in his career. In Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the actor plays the role of the antagonist Nazi Jürgen Voller.
Mikkelsen plays a complex and intriguing character, which will keep the audience hooked throughout the film. Mikkelsen plays a crucial role in the film which leads to a major turn in the film.
