Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular anime and manga series that is currently ongoing, and it is known for its superbly animated fight scenes, fun characters, and comedy. Created by Gege Akutami, the series follows the adventures of Yuji Itadori who joins a school of Jujutsu Sorcerers who aim to defeat powerful curses, the most powerful of whom Yuji has become the host of. His teacher at the school is Satoru Gojo, the world’s most powerful sorcerer.

Yuji has become the host of an ancient evil, Sukuna, also known as the King of Curses and one of the most powerful curse users in history. His teacher, Satoru Gojo, recently had a fight to the death with Sukuna, which the latter won after a long, laborious battle and seemingly killing Gojo. The fan base of Jujutsu Kaisen was understandably focused on that, but it may have led to them having missed out on one clue about a particular character.
What detail could Jujutsu Kaisen fans have missed?
As Gojo died and was seemingly in a version of the afterlife, he reunited with other dead characters such as his best friend Suguru Geto, Principal Yaga, Nanami, Riko, and many more. These were all people who had had an impact on Gojo’s life, and those whom he cared greatly about. However, one character in particular was conspicuous by her absence: Nobara Kugisaki.
As fans will know, Nobara is a major character in Jujutsu Kaisen, and one of Yuji’s classmates and closest friends alongside Megumi Fushiguro. She was also one of Gojo’s students, and Gojo no doubt cared greatly about her, as he did for all of his students. The fact that Nobara wasn’t present in Gojo’s afterlife scene hints that she is in fact alive, not having been seen or even mentioned since the Shibuya Incident Arc.
Why Nobara should return to Jujutsu Kaisen
Fans have long been suspecting that Nobara is alive and hoping that she makes her long-awaited comeback, reuniting her with her friends Yuji and Megumi. The trio is iconic and is the face of Jujutsu Kaisen alongside Satoru Gojo, their teacher.

Furthermore, with the manga in its final arc, fans would love for the iconic trio to finally reunite and fight together one last time before the story ends. Also worth mentioning is that Nobara is a fan-favorite character, and is one of the relatively few good examples of a good, strong, and well-written female character in shonen anime.
