Manor Lords, the medieval strategy city-builder from Slavic Magic, was released in early access on April 26 and has been a major success. The game had hit 3 million wishlists on Steam days before its release and recorded massive numbers post-launch, selling over a million copies in 24 hours.
The game has been showered with praise from players and critics and has been appreciated for its gorgeous landscapes, changing seasons, and much more. Although the game is in early access and there will be more content after the full launch, fans are already asking for more with unique ideas.
Manor Lords Fans Are Asking for More and Have Great Ideas Too
Manor Lords provides “deep, organic, and realistic city building” with strategy-based battles, and it is something that players have been clamoring for years. Soon after its launch, players praised the gameplay mechanics, visuals, warfare and resource management aspects, and others.
The game is currently in early access as the developer wants to prepare the game for full launch as per feedback. However, as much as players love the game, they are not satisfied with the content and want more. One such fan took to the Manor Lords subreddit and presented their case.
User NoStuff1085 shared a post titled “This game style, but colonial America would be insane.” They further explained what they would like to see in the game, including large water bodies, “Indian tribes and trading,” as well as large boats and harbors, making the game feel more immersive and exciting.

The user also said that there should be forts for players to defend against “other Europeans and Indians, expanding your town in relation to the water.” They concluded by saying, “I can’t stop thinking about this game.” Honestly, this is not a bad suggestion and something like this would make Manor Lords more amazing.
Fans Have Shared Several Similar Ideas for the Game
Players too shared their ideas for the game and what they would like to see next in the game. One fan said that they would want to see the game in several kinds of historical settings and presented a few examples, including “old Western, ancient Egypt, or China.”
Another player also had a suggestion involving feudal China. User Medium-Map-3702 said that feudal China would be an “interesting setting.” They also said that raids by “Mongolian horse-mounted archers, politics, and negotiation would have huge potential” if added to the game.

They said they would “love to see” a worker dashboard added to the game, listing the current buildings with their workers, and it would help manage a large village easier.
