As for Dafoe, he had one condition to reprise his role as Norman Osborn. During a chat with Mulderville, the actor revealed that he was not interested in just a cameo. “To do this physical stuff was important to me,” Dafoe told the outlet.
“One of the first things I said to Jon and Amy, basically when they pitched it to me, before there was even a script, was, ‘Listen, I don’t want to just pop in there as a cameo or just fill in in close-ups. I want to do the action because that’s fun for me’.”
Fortunately, the makers had the right amount of screen time the legendary actor needed, and he turned out to be great reprising his role in the movie.
