In a past interview with the Blush, The Babylon actress opened up about how her parents forced her to study law as they wanted to see her as a lawyer.

Margot Robbie was confident enough that if she would have pursued Law she might have been a great attorney. But her plans were never to dedicate her life to the courtroom, so she planned something else for herself.

“So I dropped everything and had just one goal: to travel. The ultimate goal of my journey was to unpack my bags in Hollywood and stay there. But to do that you had to earn a living. I worked in a surf shop for two years. I then worked as a babysitter and making sandwiches for Subway. What else? Oh yes, I worked in a grocery shop, then a pharmacy,”

Margot Robbie took the right decision to pursue the path of acting because if she didn’t we wouldn’t have gotten such great characters portrayed by her onscreen.

Margot Robbie Once Wanted To Quit Acting

The Barbie Actress might have chosen a career for herself but things don’t go the way one wants to in the initial years. At the beginning of the career, every well-established star has gone through struggles of not getting films, being hired for small roles, or not being paid enough. In the case of Margot Robbie, in the early stages of her career, she did have a thought in mind of quitting acting. But she didn’t and continued giving outstanding performances in every film she starred in.

“Something was happening in those early stages and it was all pretty awful. I remember saying to my mom, ‘I don’t think I want to do this.’ And she just looked at me, completely straight-faced, and was like, ‘Darling, I think it’s too late not to.”

Well, no matter how tough her journey was to become an actress. It’s undeniable that she is one of the most versatile actresses in the industry and continues to be so. Some of its upcoming projects of Margot Robbie include Barbie and Asteroid city, both films will be released this year.
