The popular Transformers franchise which starred Mark Wahlberg got a reboot in 2023 with the film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. The film has new human characters played by Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback along with the Autobots led by Optimus Prime. While fans were aware of many actors who were part of the film, they missed out on one major one.

Most fans will be shocked to know that Peter Dinklage voiced the role of Scourge in the film. He opened up about voicing the character to Collider and how weird and fun he felt while recording his lines. He said,

“It’s very weird if taken out of context, if you’re in the room going, [makes an assortment of grunting noises]. If somebody’s in the next apartment, they will have questions. But no, it’s all fun. I mean, you get to wear your own clothes and your comfortable shoes and not have hair and makeup, you’re in an air-conditioned sound booth, and it’s great. And the people over at Soundtrack [Studios], a place in Flatiron that I work at a lot, I’m very familiar with all of them, and they’re super sweet over there.”

Although the film got better reviews than the Michael Bay films, it turned out to be a box-office disappointment. Paramount had announced that the film would be the first of three films. It remains to be seen whether the studio moves ahead with its plan after the underwhelming financial return of the first film.
